Balcón's Set Menu is for groups of 8 or more people.

 

All group bookings are via our booking platform up to 17ppl, or by credit card authorisation form and can only be secured by filling out our credit card authorisation form and returned to us.

Each dish/section is designed to be shared between 3-4 people. We can adjust the menu to suit dietary needs.  Items may change due to the availability of produce on the day. Other food items may be added and will be charged at a menu prices.

 

All larger groups of 17 guests or more must pre-select beverages from our wine list before arriving. (See Terms & Conditions)

Terms & Conditions

 

 

  1. Minimum Spend per head is based on the set menu chosen i.e. $78pp.  i.e  10ppl Booking = $780

  2. Fees are calculated from the number of people missing and the SET MENU price. The remainder of the group must remain on the SET MENU.

  3. Vouchers are given on occasions for cancellations, as described below

  4. 1.5% card surcharge

  5. 10% Service to the final bill FOR TABLES Of 8 and over 

  6. Tables over 17ppl must pre-select their wines at the time of confirmations via the credit card authorisations form, or email requests

  7. Deposits are taken via CC or EFT in bank account

 

    All lunchtime bookings from 12pm need to be vacated by 4.30pm

 

    Dinner bookings from 5.00pm

 

    Last drinks 10.30pm  

 

    The restaurant needs to be vacated by 11.30pm

Cancellation Policies  FOR GROUPS

CANCELLATION POLICIES  8 -16 GUESTS

 

1. 10% cancellation fee for cancelling the entire booking less than 2 days (48 hours) before booking. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menu that were booked. In December of each year, that is 7 days

 

2. 50% cancellation fee applied for a full cancellation 24hours before booking time. Fee is calculated from the number of set menu that was booked. 25% Cancellation fee can be used for a future booking within 30 days. In December of each year, that is 5 days

 

 

3.A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied, if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 5pm the day before. Fees are calculated from the number of people missing and the SET MENU price. The remainder of the group must remain on the SET MENU. In December of each year, it is 3 days

 

4. A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 6pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.

 

1.5% card surcharge

 

Note:  Cancellation fees are not charged if the booking spends the missing amount of guests on the day.

For example:  5 guests are short, which is a charge of $490 if booked under the $98 Menu. However, if the table spends $490 on other items, such as wines, the charge will be waived. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICIES  17 - 30 GUESTS

 

1. 10% cancellation fee for cancelling the entire booking less than 5 days (72 hours) before booking. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menu that were booked. In December of each year, that is 10 days


2. 50% cancellation fee of Set menu group booking will be applied for a full cancellation less than 4-days (48 hours) from booking date. 25% of this cancellation fee can be used as a credit note for a future booking within 2-months. (60 days)  December for each year is 7 days

 

3.A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied, if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 48 hours before. Fees are calculated from the number of people missing and the SET MENU price. The remainder of the group must remain on the SET MENU. In December each year, it is 4 days.

 

4. A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 6pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.

 

1.5% card surcharge

 

Terms & Conditions for Bookings of 30+ people


Groups of 30 guests or more must pre-select beverages from our wine list before arriving.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY for 30 GUESTS & OVER

 

1. A 10% of the minimum spend cancellation fee applies for cancelling 30 days prior to your event. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menu that were booked or minimum spend that was quoted.  In December of each year, that is 35 days


2. 50% of the minimum spend* deposit will be processed 15-days before your event. In case of cancellation thereafter, 25% can be used as a credit note for a future event within 2-months.(60 days). In December of each year, that is 21 days


3. 100% of the minimum spend* cancellation fee will be applied for a full cancellation 10 days before your booking time. 25% of cancellation fee can be used as a credit note for a future event within 2-months.(60 days). In December of each year, that is 15 days

 

4. A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied, if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 7-days the day before. Fees are calculated from the number of people missing and the SET MENU price. The remainder of the group must remain on the SET MENU. In December of each year, that is 10 days

 

5. A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 5pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.

1. A 10% of the minimum spend cancellation fee applies for cancelling 45 days prior to your event. Fee is calculated from the number of people & set menu that were booked or minimum spend that was quoted. In December of each year, that is 60 days


2. 50% of the minimum spend* deposit will be processed 30-days before your event. In case of cancellation thereafter, 25% can be used as a credit note for a future event within 2-months.(60 days). In December of each year, that is 45 days we will take deposit


3. 100% of the minimum spend* cancellation fee will be applied for a full cancellation 20 days before your booking time. 25% of cancellation fee can be used as a credit note for a future event within 2-months.(60 days). In December of each year it will be 30 days

 

4. A Cancellation fee of 100% is applied, if more than 7 guests are removed from the group booking after 10-days the day before. Fees are calculated from the number of people missing and the SET MENU price. The remainder of the group must remain on the SET MENU.

In December of each year, that is 15 days

 

5. A drop in numbers of 2 or more guests must be advised before 5pm the evening before for next day functions, or you may be charged 100% for the missing diners.
